In 2019, we formed Passion is Powerful's first ever worship band with a mix of catholic kids and christians from Manhattan Beach.
We met for about 6 weeks and learned about the gospel & Jesus's finished work on the cross. The kids were all my private 1:1 students so their mastery of their instrument was already there -- now they got to discover what it means to worship Jesus with their art.
We learned and performed "Reckless Love," "Who You Say I Am" and a few other amazing songs and were the featured artist at American Martyrs Church Parish Fair in 2019. We had so much fun and the kids all felt closer to Jesus by the end of our sessions.
